Hospitality veteran Daniel Burg grew up in St. Peter, Minnesota, and worked in various restaurants in both the Twin Cities, and Naples, Florida, before heading to Franklin, Tennessee, to bring his robust and well-rounded industry knowledge to Culaccino as general manager. With more than 22 years of experience, Burg fell in love with the restaurant world soon after he started bussing tables at the age of 14. After a brief time at Minnesota State University, Burg realized that he wanted to pursue hospitality full-time. Splitting his time between Florida, and Minnesota, Burg moved his way up the restaurant ranks and entered into a career serving position at Campiello, an award-winning Italian restaurant in Naples, from 2009-2011. He then took his talents to Joan’s in the Park in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he spent a majority of his career from 2011- 2020, starting as a server and quickly proving himself for the position of assistant general manager. Now at Culaccino, Burg helps cultivate a great guest experience for everyone who walks through the doors. A people pleaser at heart, Burg loves the pace of life on the floor and the energy of a busy night—and the core of his job is to make people happy. In his spare time, Burg can be found dining his way around Nashville, hiking throughout the Tennessee mountains, or simply relaxing at home with a good glass of wine in hand.
